AREP selected to shape the future of the Porte de Clignancourt neighbourhood

In collaboration with WAGON-LANDSCAPING, Vraiment Vraiment, and CRONOS CONSEIL, AREP is envisioning the future of the Porte de Clignancourt neighbourhood, a strategic area located between Paris and Saint-Ouen.

With the transformation of the ring road into an urban boulevard, our mission is to reimagine this space, making it more peaceful and resilient while addressing current climate challenges. This complex area must seamlessly connect to its surroundings, integrating facilities, housing, and shops. It is vital for it to become part of the broader Parisian landscape and fully embrace its metropolitan role.

The challenges of this renewal are numerous: adaptation, tranquillity, connectivity, revitalisation, and requalification. Every aspect of this transformation demands a thoughtful, integrated approach. We firmly believe that solutions to urban, social, and ecological challenges go beyond spatial considerations. Designing for “living together” requires putting users and their needs at the heart of our reflections.

Our goal is to create a space where the community can thrive and interact, fostering social cohesion and inclusion. By developing innovative and sustainable solutions, we aim to make the Porte de Clignancourt neighbourhood a model of urban resilience, aligned with the expectations of today’s and tomorrow’s citizens.

Our approach also reflects a commitment to engaging and raising awareness among local residents. Through participatory workshops and dialogue, we aim to gather users’ ideas and needs, co-creating a space that reflects their aspirations. Together, we will shape a future where this area is not merely a transit point but a vibrant neighbourhood, rich in diversity and interactions.
