Rehabilitation of Hygea satellite factory

Our designers in China have transformed HYGEA’s former satellite factories into medical laboratories while preserving their industrial heritage. This project reconciles the memory of the site with innovation by offering a flexible, optimised space on a constrained site. Inspired by the aerospace industry, the building’s design is based on a “medical module” with three exhibition capsules linked by a light steel bridge. This immersive journey invites visitors to explore the building from new angles, between its industrial past and its scientific future.
